Saxon je britská heavymetalová skupina založená roku 1976 v Barnsley, Yorkshire. Jako vůdčí skupina NWOBHM se na začátku 80. let 20. století na čas umístili v žebříčku UK Top 40; zakusili úspěch i jinde v Evropě a Japonsku.
