Look for the bare necessities, the simple bare necessities.
Forget about your worries and your strife.
I mean those bare necessities, of mother nature's recipes,
that bring the bare necessities of life.


Wherever I wander, wherever I roam, I couldn't be fonder, of my big home.
The bees are buzzing in the trees, to make some honey just for me.
But you look under the rocks and plants, take a glance at the fancy ants.
Maybe try a few (you eat ants ?!).


The bare necessities of life will come to me,

Look for the bare necessities, the simple bare necessities.
Forget about your worries and your strife.
When you pick a Paw-Paw or Prickly Pear and you prick a raw paw,
Next beware, don't pick a prickly pear by paw, when you a pear try and use a claw.
But you don't need to use a claw when you pick a pear with a big Paw-Paw.


So just try to relax, in my back yard, if you act like that bee acts, you`re working too hard.
Don't spend your life just looking around for something you want that can't be found.
Then you find out you can live without it and go along not thinking about it.
