Cryptopsy je death metalová skupina z Kanady. Založili ji Mike Atkin (bicí), Steve Thibault (kytara) a Lord Worm (zpěv) pod názvem "Necrosis". Toto jméno používali až do roku 1992, kdy se přejmenovali na dnešní "Cryptopsy".
