Tired and neglected
Lost for the moment
Thoughts are collected
Never relent
Cold winds are blowing
Green fields are empty
Rivers are flowing
Back to the sea
The clock in the courtyard
Chimes out it’s message
And witness the changes
They’re meant to be
I wouldn’t change it for a thousand years
If I ever lose my mind
It’s not the way that anything appears
And I won’t let it all unwind
It’s a journey to the promised land
I don’t know how long it takes
Pretty soon I’ll have to play my hand
After all they’re my mistakes
Caught in the shadows
Hiding completely
All good intentions
Carry the day
I’ve no objection
No need to worry
It’s pure invention
It takes me away
I really don’t know where we are
Or what we’ve become
In time these things will come to pass
